Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp is a cute free-to-play mobile game that allows players to build camps with their mates to enjoy the simple things in life such as fishing, gathering fruit, and collecting bugs for adorable animals that emotionally blackmail everyone into being their slaves through the biggest puppy eyes. Unfortunately, the Nintendo community isn’t able to relax by a campfire, sing kumbaya, and enjoy the Hello Kitty crossover thanks to communication error 802-5809.

But, instead of being in the fetal position and sucking your thumb as you wait for the game to act accordingly once more, is there an easy fix for the error?

Perfectly Nintendo notes that the code ruining everyone’s fun following update version 2.5.1 is error code 802-5809.

In even more bad news, the error code isn’t anything new as Animal Crossing players have vented their frustrations about it in the past in the search for a resolution.
